This attractive ring is full of delightful details including trinity knots carved into the Celtic cross on top of the ring. A gemstone is bezel set in the center of the cross design. The Celtic cross on top of the ring is just over 1/2" wide. The band narrows down to 1/4" on the bottom.

The Claddagh ring is thought to have been designed by Richard Joyce, a Galway native captured by pirates while being transported as a slave to the West Indian plantations and sold to a Moorish goldsmith. In 1689, he was freed and allowed to return to his home in Galway. He set up a small shop in the Town of Claddagh, and crafted this now famous and unique ring. We offer this special version in rich emerald green. "Let Love and Friendship Reign" whenever you wear this beautiful piece.
